As redundant as it sounds (or not) I would like to connect my laptop to the internet through my Palm Pre. After reading a couple of info sites I can not find any information about the password and username in order to connect to the bell network (Bell Mobility Canada) after paring with my laptop.I found the rest of the things I need to do in order to connect, however from what I understand there's a need for a username and password provided by bell and I have no clue where to look for them. If anyone could point me in the right direction or give me some sort of advice about doing such a thing it would be much appreciated.
Please I am by no means an expert in the field, if the answer is obvious to some it is not to me thats why I'm asking for help.

I registered on this site to respond to your question, because I've been researching the same thing. A recent thread on another forum deals with this subject. I'm new to cellphoneforums, so I cannot post a url, but the name of the site is precentral and the topic is webOS software and chat]. What I learned is that the developers at June Fabrics are working on something that should do the trick. I don't know when it's targeted for release. I have an email in to their tech support department. I've been using PdaNet software to transform my Treo 755p into a modem, and I'm happy with its performance. I'm using it right now.
