Does anyone know how I can get rid of the "Cingular" text that's in the middle of the screen? It's making some of my backgrounds look bad and there just isn't any need for it to be there. I've tried EVERY setting on the phone I could find, and I even have a data cable, but I'm not sure how to get rid of it, can it be done?

it's actually likely built into the OS of the phone. Sometimes the data is read from the SIM, but it's usually pulling it off the tower. On some smartphones and ppc phones you can disable it, not sure about that particular model. Perhaps someone with experience with that particular phone could help.
