hello. I was using a motorola razor phone for my sidekick prepaid account. I then purchased a sidekick 2 off ebay and was going to use it for my prepaid account. After I called t-mobile to tell them to switch me to the sidekick 2 billing I was setting up my password and username with the sidekick 2 until the process could not go thru. The reason was that the phone was already activated by the person who I got the phone from. I called tmobile and they said I needed that persons password. Is there any other way to get around this without that persons password??

T-Mobile Customer Care will able to take care of that regarding your Sim Card Lock, as if privacy lock is on, and not knowing any of pins from someone else. You need numbers to put into phone mode then send it will change the pin as you entered.

Im almost positive, you can call customer care, who can then reset the phone and then bam, there ya go. you SHOULD be allset, with a quick reset.
