My dh and i just got a set of these phones.
And while they did come with a book the book really didn't cover everything I thought it should.
There really was no information on connecting the data to go cable. (WHICH I purchased for 50$, I must be a sucker ) And the cable didn't even come with the driver. So I can't upload the pictures I have taken without sending them online. And my friend told me that there would be an additional fee and since I already spent 50$ on a cable it seems pointless.
Is there some way to download the driver? The pkg just says Data to Go It connects to the recharging area at the bottom of the phone.
When I first connected the cord and the phone to my computer (running Windows XP) it came up with Qualcomm blah blah blah. But when I do a search for that I still come up with no drivers.
I'm also wondering when we got our phones they came with NO information on what we will be billed for? and for what amount.
We are going through Bell Mobility. Do they even have a link where you can go to sign up to find out what the charge is for text messaging and lookign at the web browser and is there a charge if you LOOK at the ring tones and don't find what you like and disconnect without downloading anything.
I tried to sign up for the account services but they didnt' even give us an Account number? Would that be the phone number? So I couldnt' even sign up that way. Honestly I'm finding the whole thing fairly frustrating.
I admit I am totally new to Cell Phones. Our last one was a second hand motorola pay and talk from telus, with really NO features I think it might have even been analog.
Thank you
Vic

all this was obtained by a Google search
