I just recently downgraded (if you will), from a blackjack 2, to the rumor 2. All of my files from the preview phone..pictures, audio, and such, were stored on a 1GB microSD card. I insert the card into the phone, and get the notification popup, so the phone is recognizing the card.

My problem is, I can't find ANYWHERE on the phone to view the files or anything. No memory card options what so ever, anywhere! I've read online about a supposed memory card manager in the tools section, but I have looked over settings and tools multiple times and it doesn't say anything about the memory card.

Am I missing something, or is it just supposed to be this way? And if it is, what's the point in having a memory slot in the first place?

I've been asking everywhere. Any help would be appreciated.

When you select tools from the menu, the memory card manager should be the first option. There seems to be alot of isues surrounding accessing the data contained on the memory cards.

I'm currently having problems accessing music downloading from my laptop.

    Good Luck

nope, my first option under tools is alarm clock. I've went through all of them, in both tools and settings, and theres nothing anywhere about the memory card.

On my phone, "Memory Card Manager" is the first option in the tools menu.

Have you tried contacting LG concerning your problem?

I got mines used off of ebay specifically for the MP3 music playing feature, as well as the full keyboard texting feature.

I'm not fully satisfied with this phone. I would be if I payed full price for this phone.

I don't know if you still have this problem but the reason it might not have the memory card settings option is because you most likely have a LG Rumor 2 from Virgin Mobile. If you do, then they removed that option to make the phone "more affordable". The only way to view your files is to go to your pictures folder in the camera icon, and the music folder in your music player icon.
