i hava non oem usb cable for my razr fits fine, the comp detects the phone

im using mobile phonetools i got off limewire

when it says choose yur connection type it brings up choices of bluetooth,cable, or sync... naturally i choose cable, i plug it in it detects it and says its installing my phone, when it reaches 100% it shows the "choose your connection type" menu again

anyone kno whts wrong

help would be appreciated
