I purchased a i90 off ebay for a reasonable price like I have done three time in the past. But this one was different. It was a true nextel and not a Boost (I took it to a service center) but when I inserted my perfectly workig justa minute ago SIM, it read "INSERT SIM." Then I put ot back in my i85 and the same message appeared. I can deal with losing the $65 but, I want to know HOW and WHY.

Can anyone explain this to me?

I have seen people mangle the hell out of there sim from changing it so much. They also use the crudest things to remove the sims like pens and pencils or they just over twist and force it out. So what I am saying is it was probably just an old and beat sim. I have not seen a phone destroy a sim yet. If you take it to a service center and say "I don't know it just all of a sudden says insert sim?" they will put a new sim in it and if it fries the sim then they will fix the phone with out charging you for the sim that they just fried. A good service center would only charge you for the repair or the sim not both.
