Hey guys, got a spare copy of Vista beta lying around! When your buying this, your going to recieve a new copy of Windows Vista, Beta 01, build 5112, and the product key to go along with it. Im looking to get $100 for it, this is one of the 2500 copies sent out!! Get yours now! This is an ACTUAL disk, not a copy, not a hack, not a skin, the real thing! He was referring to how legal it is to sell it, which it is not. You received this free with an agreement to test and provide feedback, not test it, decide you don't like it, then try to sell a beta version. Why do you think MS and other companies don't sell betas? It's illegal, because it will have bugs that have not been worked out, so they can't sell a second-rate product to the public.

truly we could debate the legality of selling the beta version.

one the other hand, you could dance around this by selling it as a used product for collectible purposes only. ebayers do this all the time with cuban cigars (and some hard to find dominicans). you sell it for the decorative packaging only.
it's sketchy, i know. but it's how you can dance around it. not that i'm saying it's right or wrong, just an observation.

Although it can be used to be installed as an OS, i am selling it for a collectors item.
