major problem. setting mp3 as ringtone for d807

I just got a d807 from samsung and I have mp3's on my phone but it doesn't allow me to set it as a ringtone. any help?

While in standby mode, press the left soft key for Menu
Select Settings (9)
Select Sound Settings (1)
Select Incoming Call (1)
Select Shop Ring Tones, to download new ringtones, using the WAP browser
Select Ring Tone, to choose from the following ringtones:
Default Ringtones, for preloaded ringtones
Downloaded Audio, for previously downloaded audio files
Favorite Audio, for audio previously saved to the favorite audio folder
My Music, for previously downloaded MP3 files
Press the left soft key for Select to select the sound as the ringtone
Press the left soft key to Save the ringtone changes
