    Hi all,

I was wondering if you could watch videos on these two phones. Not short clips btw, I mean like full length movies (as long as they fit on the card). What format do they need to be if it can play them? According to the sony website, the phone can play videos, but I'm wondering to what extent.

    3GP

And if you're going to watch videos, Memory Stick Pro Duo cards go up to 4 GB.

3GP format? Is that good quality (with sound?). So could I like download a movie , say Scarface or something, and convert it to 3GP and watch it on my phone? It's not limited to 30 seconds or anything, right?

Dude, what are you expecting? DVD quality? You're going to convert the videos to a lower resolution so that it can play on a cell phones screen. If you're expecting that type of vidoe quality, get: a portable DVD player, laptop w/ a DVD drive, or a PSP. And no, it is not limited to 30 seconds.

No no. What I meant was that if it could play a whole movie with sound. Obviously quality will be lacking, but I was just wondering if it could be done for sure.
