So, I saw people are annoyed with Sprint, I did a little digging, and posted this on my site too (permalink: FadeproofOnline » Sprint: Get Out of Your Contract Free. If you're fed up and want to get out FREE, now's your chance. Untill October 31st, it'll run you nothing. Since Sprint is upping it's texting costs, you get a chance to get out free because they are editing their end of the contract.

Wow, are this many people disappointed with Sprint?
Drop Sprint, get Verizon
I love and have always loved my service with Verizon.
(this is not a paid advertisment for Verizon, donations welcome )

Gotta agree with Char777. I like Sprint over Cingular, and when I had Verizon (eons ago) I was less than thrilled with them. 'Course it may have something to do with the plan I have, which the other two cannot come close to offering me.
Would you like some cheese with that whine?

Hey Red Hot Chili Pepper, I do believe that Sprint just closed that loophole. They now allow you to remain at 10 cents per text if you try and get out of your contract for the material change in agreement. Those sneaky little boogers.

Darn you Sprint. I took a break from my beloved CPF to take care of some personal business and missed my window to get out of the contract. That's okay you Sprint buggers, the thread in my sig has been viewed by 1,317 people (more each day) who will think twice about you!

Re: Hate sprint? Get out free.
Wait... so can I get out, or no?
And if I go to Verizon, and port my number over, and then call Sprint and raise cane, can I get out for sure?

Re: Hate sprint? Get out free.
Uh, wernerius... I'm not sure what you mean exactly but I think the answer is no. Sprint closed the loophole so if you're not out of contract then you'll just have to wait until yours expires or pay the fee to get out of your contract. I have just switched to Verizon and am happy. I didn't think it would be better than Sprint but it is, at least where I live.

OOPS! I'm late again. I wish I would've known this sooner!
Sprint: Hey, why don't you switch to our network? We're just like them...
Guy: Ummm, are you reliable?
Sprint: Excellent question!
Guy: How about for emails or downloading music?
Sprint: Why Not!?

Re: Hate sprint? Get out free.
mohnton7 my biggest complant with SPRINT is that i been paying my bill thru my bank and everything is clearing (direct pay) and they keep turning my service off saying my bill is 5 months behind. what i would like know is who is keeping my money. is anybody else having a problem with there payments?

Re: Hate sprint? Get out free.
you guys want to know how to get out for free...
fill out a new address for a location where sprint doesnt have service... Like Casper Wyoming... (im 50 miles away from a sprint tower, and not to happy about it). There is a clause in their contract that if you move out of their service area, they will cancel your contract in good standing.
even though i never wanted to give up sprint, they let me out free.... one more reason why i love sprint!

Re: Hate sprint? Get out free.
Sprint would have to empty the US Mint to get me to join back up. I was able to get out of my contract easily when I moved across the country and they jacked up my service BAD. Every time I went in the Sprint store the place would be full of people with issues.
