I've been looking over this and debating
I hear good and bad things about this.
Have any of you tried this (MDA) whats you thoughts. Is it still bug ridden?

Re: Has anyone tried the TMobile MDA
I just got the MDA a few days ago. Took it on a road trip to New York (I live in Atlanta)
And man, is this phone awesome!!
It detects wireless networks just like a normal laptop with a wireless card.
You can surf the net(any website, not just mobile enabled ones)
Check email
And yes, you CAN assign MP3 ringtones too!
This phone is like a mini-laptop and comes with great stereo headphones that act as headset also....
And for the price ($0 ) u cant beat it !

6. Now paste the copied files here
Next you'll need to make sure the contacts you would like to assign ringtones to are saved in the phone's memory and not in the sim card's. To do this, in Programs open Sim Manager, all your sim contacts will load then highlight the ones you want. When highlighted, click and hold any contact and a pop-up window will show, select Save to Contacts. Now open your Contacts list and you will find that contact has been duplicated. Select the one that is saved to the phone's memory, then press Menu + Edit. Now scroll down to Ringtone and a list should pop-up with the music files that you had copied earlier. Select the one you want and there ya go!
