    Hello all, a newbie here.

I have T Mobile and love their service. I love my plan. I had a Blackberry 7290. I recently bought a house and I get next to no service at home. The neighbors have all said that Verizon is the way to go, but I don't want to give up my current calling plan. Is there a phone available that gets better reception. Any suggestions.

how far from your new home does your signal "die"? Can you get signal out in the yard? At the end of the block? or is it a few miles away?

There are a number of signal boosting devices that you can use IF you have a little signal.. check out the products at World's Best Performing Cellular Amplifiers and Antennas - Smart Technology™ ...I have a girlfriend who has a simple trucker's antenna stuck on a gutter and she can plug her phone in and get 3 bars where there were none for about $40, others need to go with an amplifier and a directional antenna to the tune of $300-$800

It is hit or miss. I get reception on my patio, or by the window, but few other places in the house.
