Hi all, today I was given as a present a Nokia 6230i. It was bought
from Tesco-the first thing I did was to unlock it (successfully) to my
existing Orange PAYG sim. It works great. Trouble is, I get the
annoying Tesco logo on the main screen, and in a couple of other areas
in the menu (just cant remember where at the mo..). I can't understand
why their logo should show even if it is now using my Orange sim
    details-anyway I can remove them??
    cheers
    Billy

    I've got a 6230 with O2 logo and screensaver. I actually like O2's nice
bluey bubbles and things so haven't removed it. I did have a look at how it
worked though and (from memory) you have to connect phone to a PC with Nokia
Data Suite (I used Bluetooth) and then it shows in the "file manager"
explorer as a hidden file. As I say I didn't bother but no reason why you
can't delete it. As far as I know there is no way to get rid from the phone
itself, have to do it from PC.

Doing a full reset of the phone may get rid of the operator logo.
