E715 Caller ID with pictures?

In the Samsung instructions for the E715, it SOUNDS like you should be able to have a particular image come up when you get a call from a particular caller, but I've never been able to make that work. Any ideas?

It's in the phone book menu, when you highlight a contact and choose options, there is an item for photo caller id...

I was under the impression that the pic would show on the exterior LCD. But this is not the case. The picture caller I D only works if folder is already open. if it is closed and you open it to answer the call you do not have the benefit of seeing the pic. i.e./ it may be workin you just don't know it.

does anyone know if its possible to use and image from the funbox as caller id, maybe after u flash your phone?

i dont think so. even if you flash it to the e700 i dont think there's that option. e700 doesnt have caller id pics i dont believe.
