Re: RemoteUnlocks.com
I had very bad exprience with remoteunlocks.com. They charge me for the service and never deliverd the solution. They are a fraud. I am going to get to the bottom of this very soon.
Remoteunlocks.com is a fruad. I got charge. However the solution was never deliverd.
Damn I should have done my research before going to remoteunlocks.com. However, I have disputed the charge with PayPal as well. I have also warned PayPal to close remoteunlocks account. Or else I will be contacting news agencies to report PayPal to support fraud like remoteunlocks.com. Because many complains I see here. It seems like this is not the only time that remoteunlock has fooled someone.Last edited by karachiyan; 09-28-2009 at 02:19 PM. Reason: Auto-merged Double post

Re: RemoteUnlocks.com
I paid 8.49 CAD yesterday before I saw this website. I did not receive any code after 24 hours. I failed a dispute with Paypal and 45 seconds later, I got my refund. Yes, It is a scam but I do not why Paypal do not close their accounts?

Re: RemoteUnlocks.com
Dang, I almost used that site a while back. Glad I didn't. Why does the service provider lock the phone if they just let you unlock it when you ask them...
Also I have a question. If I buy a phone, can I just ask the sales rep to unlock it for me right there before he even hands it over to me?
Thanks.

Re: RemoteUnlocks.com
I had a similar experience. I paid for 2 unlock codes. I did not receive either. I sent them numerous emails complaining. I was able to get a refund once I threatened Remoteunlocks with legal action. I know most people wouldn't puruse legal action for losing $8.99. But, the threat of my pursuing a class action lawsuit against them got me a refund the next day.

Re: RemoteUnlocks.com
I too purchased an unlock code from Remote Unlocks back on february the 20th. Like others, no code was provided and a refund was promised which never came through....
Luckily Paypal came to the rescue - after lodging a dispute on the 31st of March the dispute was settled and refund provided today
The phone was locked to Rogers Canada (who refuse to provide unlock codes.)
In the end I got the code from thephoneunlockers dot com.Last edited by JTAG; 10-26-2010 at 05:44 AM.

Re: RemoteUnlocks.com
It is hard to find a site that is reliable these days. You need to go by the feedback. Word of mouth is the best advertisement...
