Sprint cdma to boost cdma phone

I need help flashing a sprint phone over to a boost mobile i have heard of it being done and seen it
its a lg rumor and i also have a samsung rant

if anyone can help let me know i would appreciate it

I just got off the phone with a Boost rep and they said that my old Sprint Rant cannot be used on the Boost network... the equipment numbers are not compatible with Boost. So, can this actually be done, or not?
