Help with a Sprint phone

I am having a problem with a phone I purchased off craigslist. It's a Sprint phone and I have a sprint account but when I try and activate it it tells me it is already activated. I called sprint and they told me I need to get the person I purchased it from to drop the phone from his account. Of course I can't get a hold of the person I bought the phone from.. Any solution to this that anyone is aware of?

If you cannot get a hold of the seller contact ebay buyer protection, they will either get the problem sloved or refund your full purchase price.
