I am at a university in the south of England, now there is a craze
going round here that is getting right up my nose.

People are going to http://www.revengetext.com and sending messages to
ANYONE from ANYONE as a prank or wind-up. It's mostly harmless fun and
just my mates messing about (yes okay I did have a go aswell in the
beginning) but I want to know if I can get my phone to block this type
    of message?

    Any ideas.

Did you intentionally forget to mention that each text sent will cost you
    money ?

What I like is - (Taken from the site)

    QUOTE
"1). When you press 'SEND MESSAGE' here, you can be sure that your recipient
will receive the SMS message within 20 seconds. There is no waiting around
here for foreign gateways to respond to the request."

    END OF QUOTE

I wonder how they ensure that you will receive the message within 20
    seconds?
What happens if they are not switched on?
What happens if the networks are congested?
What happens if they are out-of-coverage?
What happens if the mobile is already full of SMS Messages?

It makes me think that site has been put together by someone who does not
know much about SMS and I suspect it will collect valid mobile numbers which
can be spammed later (premier change?).
