Indeed. If they just take one persons £1.50 credit they know people are not
likely to do anything (and nor will ICTSIS). However, if they do it
thousands of people these twats are making loads of dosh and getting away
with nothing short of THEFT! What they have done to me and others is
Criminal nothing more or less. They have taken small amounts from people and
    made loads of money.

I doubt whether a cheque for £1.50 will be forthcoming but I will be
bothering them until I do. I know that I have never entered my number on
here but obviously cannot prove it. However, just because they have my
number on their data base does not give them the right to STEAL!!! Those on
contracts beware you may be in for a nasty shock when you get your bill.

I will certainly set my company's lawyers on them if they are
stealing from our company mobile phone accounts. Since we have in-
house lawyers, there's no specific cost for this. I'm waiting for
confirmation that these texts do actually cost us money.

But I am still concerned about the notion that a former relationship
of some sort entitles them to send texts which cost money to receive.
I think I'll check with Oftel.

Oops that's you down for a quick £1.50 then..!

I had one last December from 83149 which came back with an address very
similar to the one given for this outfit, well in the same area of central
Birmingham, anyway, so I wonder if they are the same lot..? I wrote to
them and I did receive a cheque for £3. However I would suspect that the
number of people who complain are in a very small minority so it is still
most likely a good money making excercise for them.

Do you mean you sent a letter, or an email?

A letter, in the post, snail mail. Recorded delivery with proof of
signature so they can't claim they never received it.

No, I've had the text already, so I presume I'm down - can't tell till my
    billing date which is 3rd!
