A couple of questions - Can you use your phone as a modem for your laptop?
I know Tmobile forbids this but is it possible and what is the likely hood
of getting caught? Do any other networks have similar competitive tariffs?
Cheers

I believe you can only do this with Web 'n Walk Pro...
Hope this helps,
Glen.

There is nothing to stop you using the consumer (£7.50/month) web n walk
with a laptop. In fact I used it for a few minutes from my desktop
computer the other night when NTL stopped working again. I also often
use my phone as a bluetooth internet connection for my Nokia internet
tablet, as I see it as not much different to using one of the PDA phones
that T-Mobile can supply. They haven't complained yet.

I should add that they may catch on if you start downloading windows
updates or something similar. Stick to stuff that you could download on a
mobile phone or PDA.
