i'm on a 12 month contract with t-mobile a redemption contract.however
the contract doesn't have any text messages and I'm tempted by other
contracts that have minutes and texts. two questions:
1) Can i break the contract and move somewhere else (i could sell the
free phone to compensate for cost)?
2) If i don't have my later bills (month 11 and 12) would i not get my
money back from the redemption plan?

Possibly, although you'd be expected to pay the outstanding line
rental up front.

Since most (all?) cashback/redemption schemes require you to send a
copy of the bill for the relevant months, I'd say its unlikely.... why
not check the terms and conditions on the "redemption plan"
documentation you should have.

Yes, but you would have to pay the outstanding line rental up to the end of
the contract. Although you are free to sell the phone if you wish.

That's right, you wouldn't get anything.

No text bundles available to be added? Might be cheaper than paying
that rather than paying for 2 contracts.

Try calling T-Mobile and see what they will offer you, they may rather
do a deal than lose a customer.
