I have no idea what they charge, sorry. However, I use 02002220700
which is charged out of inclusive minutes to dial freephone numbers,
which is what 0808 numbers are.

I tried that on Virgin and I get a 'you have dialled an incorrect
number' message. Looks like they have blocked it.
