I have a blackberry that's only been used a month.

Am I correct in thinking that once I remove the blackberry
internet service from my subscription and then sell it on?

Just wondering if I were to sell it on ebay if the person
buying it would have a problem registering it if the pin has
    been registered before.

Anyone any experience on this? Cheers!

Missing words somewhere..? The BIS is not dependant on the SIM - the
PIN & IMEI are the two important things. You could stick any SIM with
the BlackBerry Internet bolt-on & still be able to send/receive emails
from the device. (clearly if it's network locked the SIMs would have to
    be on the same network)

Yes, unless you get the device reset by the network. The new owner will
not be able to re-register the same PIN, unless it has been reset.

You could simply provide the owner with the BIS log-in for the device &
let them set their own email address up - delete yours.

Yes, you're right, been a long night! I meant to say, if I
remove the blackberry internet service from my subscription,
can I then sell the device on?

Very true, I didn't realise you could register a new email
address, mine hasn't been used anyway, I just used it to have
emails forwarded onto it, I suppose the simplest thing would
be to supply the username and password as it wont be any use
    to me any more!

I'm not sure what I'd ask for if I called vodafone and asked
for the device to be reset, that sounds like I'd need to talk
to someone who knew what they were doing!!

    Cheers!

Yes. The new owner would need a SIM on Vodafone together with the BIS
    bolt-on

If it's fairly generic, then yes - if it's your name, then best to
    reset it by calling vodafone.

Log in at <http://mobileemail.vodafone.net> and delete the email
    account that's there.

I'd also recommend you explain to the Vodafone customer services that
someone else may be using the blackberry with a different email
address to make sure that everything on a network level is updated as
    well.

Erm, no need whatsoever to do the above.

CS won't need to know or have anywhere to "put" the information.

The BIS login connects to RIM's servers, not Vodafone's - this is where
the new email details are entered.

The ONLY thing that needs providing at network level is the BlackBerry
    APN
