    when setting phone to connect on Bluetooth to pc it finds it ok but asks for
    password but I cant find any
    in the manual tried 1234 but don't work can any body help

    you have to make one when the computer and phone find each other it asks you
    to make a password so if the computer was looking for the phone and then
    finds it it asks to make a password on the computer and then u must enter it
    in the phone as well... or vice versa

    Please could you elaborate on this? I got a Bluetooth dongle for my machine
    this morning, but it doesn't ask for any pins or passwords?

    You're misinterpreting the request. It's not asking you to enter a
    pre-existing password, it's asking you to set a password. And it has to be
    numeric bacause the phone's gonna ask you 2 seconds later to enter the same
    password using the handset's keypad. Then they're paired and you're off.
    Next time you link, no password shennanigan's is necessary - it's automatic
