Back Up Applications:

  1. Tap “Apps” while viewing the home screen
  2. Tap “Settings
  3. Access the “General” tab
  4. Swipe to “Personal” and tap “Backup & reset
  5. Enable the “Back up my data” check box

Back Up Contacts:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Go to “Settings
  3. Swipe to “Personal” and tap “Backup & reset
  4. Tap “LG Backup service
  5. Tap “Backup and restore”, followed by “Backup
  6. Choose to back up the contacts on the “Internal storage”, “SD card” or “Cloud
  7. Tap “Next” and select “Personal data” while deselecting the other options
  8. Expand the “Personal data” directory and select “Contacts
  9. Tap “Next” > “Start
  10. At the “Back up completed” message, tap “Done

Back Up Data to SD Card:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Go to “Settings” and swipe to “Personal
  3. Tap “Backup & reset
  4. Tap “Backup” and select “SD card
  5. Tap “Next” and select the items you want to back up
  6. Tap “Next” > “Start
  7. At the “Backup completed” pop-up, tap “Done

Media File Backup

Using Your Phone:

  1. Tap “Apps” and go to “Settings
  2. Under “Personal” select ‘Backup & reset
  3. Tap “LG Backup service” > “Backup
  4. Select to save the data on the “Internal storage”, “SD card” or “Cloud
  5. Tap “Next
  6. Select “Media data” and deselect the other options
  7. Expand the “Media data” directory and select the media files you want to back up
  8. Tap “Next” > “Start
  9. At the “Back up completed” message, tap “Done

Using Your Computer:

  1. Connect the LG Leon to your PC via USB
  2. When prompted, tap “Media sync (MTP)”, otherwise enable the option from the notification area
  3. From the AutoPlay window on the computer, select to browse the phone’s files and folders
  4. Navigate to the phone directories containing the media files you wish to back up
  5. Copy the files and transfer them on your computer’s HDD
