I have all the programs I need to flash/hex edit/upload files to my V551 and I changed the settings so that the option for Vibe and ring is there with vibe then ring. MPT does not do this by the way you have to hex edit the phones code.

we figured out how to get the update. we just ended up calling the cingular warrenty support number and had them send us new phones.
