i730 data cable

I recently bought an i730 data cable, and I was just wondering what kind of program do I use to download ringtones and wallpaper to my phone? My friend had a program where she customized her ringtones (it was like she cut a part of a real song, with the words and everything) and wallpaper, but she doesn't remember what program she used. Any help?

And how exactly do I use the data cable?

i have my jal! its made by myteam or something, it works good, and nextpimp.com has a program also!

what do i do after i download the program?

If you ask me - after you download the program you go get a box of tissues and start crying while you try to get it to work! My PC will not talk to my phone. I am using a motorola USB cable and the computer says it is recognized - but myJAL won't work. Try anything free - but don't give any money out !!

If you want to discuss what could be wrong, I will try and help you. Mine went on without a hitch.

For beginners, use google and search "MYJAL" and it will take you to the home site that has tutorials that explain the entire process

Hey RevLewis, you may need the drivers from motorolla. If you hooked up the phone without the driver or with the generic iDen drivers therein lies your problem.

hey guys i need help bad. i bought a cable for the 730 and i went to idens site and downloaded all the stuff it told me to i followed all the steps. then i plugged the phone in and it says that the phone isnt reconized when i go to webjal and that works fine. can you help me please
