If you're not familiar with the Samsung Replenish handset, it is a candybar Android-powered smartphone that is constructed of recyclable packaging and plastics. The handset was first introduced in April that comes with a touchscreen and a full physical QWERTY keyboard.

The Samsung Replenish will soon get a software update, but it will not be an update that will upgrade to Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but instead, will add LED enhancements as well as adding a roaming alert before roaming is activated. The software will also fix some bugs such as the ##RTN# attribute resetting to zeros.

Samsung Replenish owners can expect this update to start rolling out OTA on July 18, which is Monday. As with any OTA update, your Replenish should notify you when the update is available. You will want to make sure that the update you receive is version EF27 and in order to confirm that this is the update, all you have to do, once the udpate is complete, is go to Settings>About Phone> and check for this Baseband and Build number.
