I've been with sprint for six years and never HATED it but never LOVED the phones they have to offer. not to mention the fact that they dont use sim cards is a hassle, etc. Plus i want internet and its 14.99 on sprint, for tmobile its only 5.99

ANYWAYS my point is i want to get out of sprint and get a plan with (most likely tmobile) or at&t. heres the deal:

On the sprint website, when i'm logged in, it tells me that the expiration date for MY line was 12/06/2006 and that it has expired. BUT i upgraded to my phone in march and if i remember correctly, you have to reactivate two years of service in doing so. the website has been telling me my service has been expired ever since i upgraded my phone, but if i go into the store (which im guessing you have to do in order to cancel a contract) they'll most likely tell me my service doesnt expire for more than another year. im wondering if i can cancel my line of service without a charge. if not, what is the charge? will they ackknowledge the expiration date on their website? It is somewhat a form of false advertisement.

    Information:
I am on a fair and flexible plan with two other lines. i am not the primary line.

See More: CANCELLING CONTRACT. please help!!

I would take a wild gander that your expiry date changed when you upgraded you phone - otherwise you wouldn't be able to use it (the account is obviously active). I would try phone Sprint (or emailing) and inquiring about the expiry date again and then go from there.

I have read Sprint charging up to $300 to cancel an account (the amount is indicated on your contract) while the norm is about $200.

    Hope that helps a bit.

I would try calling and talking to an account rep.
One thing about Sprint, that I have learned,
if you don't get a straight answer, either call back
so you get a different rep or ask for an account supervisor.
If you recycled your contract though, you are probably stuck,
unless you want to pay the termination fee.
