As I recall he wanted a ringtone of FLINT's phone.

    FYI -

6 PM EST Dec. 30: on Fox Movie Channel ( 258 on DirecTv),

    "Our Man Flint"

I will TiVo it. Then what should I do to make the best ringtone?

I think most phones can handle either a .wav or a .mp3 file, so long as
it's 64Kb/s bitrate and no larer than 64Kb in size.

    there's a flint phone ringtone on http://www.matrixm.com

Search for flint. Preview it, and it will put a wav version of it in your
Temporary Internet Files. Convert the wav to an mp3. Transfer to phone.
    Done

    free

You don't recall correctly (as usual) -- I've had the Flint ringtone for a
long time. The issue is that it's only available in WAV/MP3 form, not MIDI,
and many phones can't handle WAV/MP3.

Most phone handle only note or MIDI-type ringtones, not WAV/MP3.

You mean to tell me that my new V551 is better than most phones in that
regard too? Gee whillikers Mr. Quigley!

I guess Moto put 5Mb of memory inside this beast for a good reason. I
was doofing around with it again today at lunch, and I was told I
resembled Bones with his medical scanner. I assumed that was intended
    as a compliment.
