Is anyone else having a problem forwarding a voicemail to a former AT&T Wireless customer who is now a part of the Cingular network? I can forward a voicemail to another Cingular user, but not to a former AT&T user that is now part of the Cingular network. I thought that once AT&T was acquired by Cingular all the Cingular features would be available to the former AT&T users.

    Thanks

Where and when did you have this All Things Cingular dream? Voice mail
systems only talk to each other "after" someone teaches them how. The
rumour I heard was 'blue' VM systems will eventually be abandoned while
blue clients are migrated to orange VM systems. If that rumour is true,
there would be little point in doing anything with a blue VM systems
other than cancelling vendor support contracts, turning them off, and
shilling the tattered remnants on eBay. Just because a blue has been
repainted orange doesn't necessarily mean they've been rehomed to an
orange switch and VM system. Of course, before my echo dies someone
will install a bunch of trunks between orange and blue VM systems and
    make the whole issue moot.
