I've got a prepaid service on a Nokia 3585i and I'd like to move to another
phone without losing my prepaid minutes. I can pick-up a Motorola W315
(Which the prepaid carrier also uses) but since both phones are CDMA, I
    can't just switch SIM cards.

    Any other ideas?

That's the problem with CDMA, you are completely at the mercy of your
carrier. It is technically *POSSIBLE* to switch over, but entirely
depends on how co-operative your carrier is.

If they let you purchase another phone and will configure it for you
then you will be right. If not, then you are screwed.
