While you are at it Phil boy, email earthlink.net on my behalf as well ...
Complain like hell ... Then they might notice who's trolling this newsgroup
and take some action against the real instigator in this newsgroup ... YOU.

If you do, keep in mind the liability issue. If he committed his forgery using
company equipment (e.g., a laptop brought home from work), or learned his
forgery skill in the workplace (e.g., from co-workers) or with his employer's
financial support (e.g., tuition reimbursement), his employer may be liable.
Needless to say, his employer's simplest solution to this vexing liability issue
is to fire him (to show legally that the employer does not condone forgery).
The bottom line here is that if you choose to act, one of your first letters
could be to his company's legal office.

The culprit IS in Jail. He was my nephew, and while he had heard me
disagreeing with some of the posts on this group, he apparently took
it apon himself to use my account, under the guise of playing online
games. He has made my wife and I sick with his behavior online and off,
Including the fact that he was shoplifting. which he was caught for, and
is now in detention.
I apologize to ALL for his action in this group, and posting message
under
MY name as well as others.

Uhm, reported to who, Phillipe? The great Usenet police?
(Now I will say that forging is immature, but really... so is this
response).

I've seen less mature posts from you.

That would be intresting. I think we all know why, but to hear it from
Phillipe himself would be good. Honestly, I think he did so because the
nature of this board is to pick on people who say negative things about
Sprint. I say this because I've seen plenty of immature posts from people
like Rob, a Sprint employee, that no one bothers to mention. Phillipe
probably felt he needed some additional support.

Wow. Thats a shocker, and I will for now take Mr. Arends explanation at
face value and accept the apology.

Of course it only made it worse. But, I suspect he's not the only one
guilty of this on this board.

Unfortunately, even Phillipe's actions here are not enough that any ISP
would take action against him.

You won't get an answer from Phillipe on this. It was not supposed to be
known and it is a matter of great shame and embarrasment for the lifeless
fool. You may get a response, but you will never get the reason why he did
it.

I'm afraid you're right Tom. But there would be something on his account the
next time he pulls this crap ...
