Re: Boycott Optus (SingTel)
If there's one thing about the great Aussie Journo, it's the fact they
love a good frenzy, especially considering they're in a position to
almost generate it themselves.
In the case of Van Nguyen, it has worked fantastically. Simply depict
the view of 'all' Australians in the complete opposite light, to that of
reality, and reiterate, again, and again.
Therefore, we have a situation where an amazingly innocent young
'Australian' citizen is up for hanging in a foreign country for having
the unfortunate luck of finding 26,000 pills worth of enriched heroin
strapped to his body. Oh my god, the injustice!
Bleeding hearts, devout lefty-wing Bobby '****' Brown supporters, or
people who otherwise have no purpose to life than to hand-out 'save the
world' flyers on the street - It's your calling - Now's your chance to
have meaning again, if only till Friday! Save the Pine-Tree Forests, oh
wait, I mean Van Nguyen!
The fact is, most Australians couldn't give a damn, and if you're like
me, see the Singaporean stance as one which we should aim for ourselves.
Australia is fast becoming the country of the piss-weak,
politically-correct bleeding-hearts. If Nguyen were to have been caught
here, we would have given him a hug, maybe a kiss, and then released him
on a 6-month suspended sentence, back onto the streets, to be free, and
to continue to be involved in the trafficking of illicit drugs, just
like the rest of his family (his brother was convicted of trafficking
twice previously, the debt he accumulated was a byproduct of the
associated criminal law case).
The Singapore government should be congratulated on preventing 26,000
doses of misery from entering the country and the inestimable potential
future damage had he gone free. Granted, 26,000 pills is a drop in the
ocean, but that's no excuse to piss-weakify attempts to stop it.
Drug dealers, traffickers, pushers, designers and producers aren't
citizens of any country, they, to put it exoterically, are enemies of
humanity as a whole, and therefore, should be dealt with accordingly.
Nguyen knew the risks, his brother had trafficked drugs through
Singapore previously. He lost, now it's time to pay the price. Singapore
has the sovereign right to do whatever they feel like, just don't bring
him back here. In any case, it's great to see a problem being
eliminated, without my hard-earned tax dollars being burnt in the process.
Finally, to relate to my opening about the great Aussie Journo - All
this talk about a minutes silence, boycotting Singaporean businesses,
etc. It's fantastic stuff guys, total crap, but certainly working well
in stirring the pot.
So in conclusion, if there's one thing Johnnys got right, it's the fact
that nobody cares, and rightly so. So why not enjoy the Cricket, and
when the 'game's over', those bleeding-hearts will have to find some
other subject to protest about.
There's still IR, but only for a limited time.

Why ... will they stop being addicts now because one shipment was
stopped? Of course not.
FWIW ... all of the "young aussies" were also stupid enough to get
addicted in the first place, and they'll still be addicts even after
the drug mule is murdered by the Singapore government. Stopping the
odd shipment here and there just means prices go up in Australia and
property crime increases to finance their habit. Well done ;-)
So other than adding one more person to the death toll from "drugs"
it's hard to see how the Singapore government murdering a drug mule
accomplishes anything more than a long prison sentence would have
(especially while the same government turns a blind eye to doing
business with the drug lords).

There is no "good behaviour" release once you're dead!
I know which act of law will deter amature drug mules in the future..
Undoubtably there are huge drug trafficing rings going on.. and yes one
person gone will not change that. But if there a 1000 small timers
thinking twice.. That's a good start.

I certainly agree that when it comes to murder by one means or another
there should be capital punishment. Maybe people who are murderers
are too stupid to be deterred by the prospect of capital punishment,
but there is such a thing as just vengeance for society, and there is
no point in giving free board and lodging to those who can't really be
reformed.

Just another of your pathetic little drug crazed fantasys.
Makes absolutely no diference if they kill him or keep him locked up.

Hell of a lot cheaper. And they should have waited 3 years to do it either.

It's more like Johnny Howard with his buddy GWB who'll go first under
this scenario.

Good luck proving that bull****.
Singapore has been murdering drug mules for years ... done **** all to

to find new mules).

No! We legalise drugs and crash the black market in narcotics!
Goverment regulation can deal with all further issues!

There is no revcovery once you become a conservative law and order
freak!

I could suggets a couple of tax laws that would wipe the smirk off your
face!

Peddling horse**** won't change the facts! And deap down you know that
it is pure unadulterated horse****!
Singapore is a ****house. That is the real issue!
So a nice boycot of their business ventures will send a good signal to
those mini dictators! The ones who love to do nice business with the
Asian drug lords!
And you idiot keep pontificating over lives. Why don't you move to
Singapore if you love the smell of death?

Who says we do it to deter anyone?
We do it because we LOVE hanging those
bastard drug smugglers.
Hmmm...you sound like one.
When are you visiting us?
LOL.

Finally ... an honest reply from a Singaporean!
Don't let the PAP find out you've been telling the truth to foreigners
;-)
Now care to admit the other truth ... that your hypocrite country
also finances Burmese drug lords.
