    6800GT is about double the performace to an 9800XT. I know since I upgraded from a 9800XT to a 6800GT. I liked mine while I had it, but now I'm on an X850XT. 6800GT is compareable to x800XT if not x800XT PE. If both were the same price, I'd go with a 6800GT.

    6800gt is more than double the performance of the 9800. you cannot compare the 2 since they are in a very different category. if you dont mind the price the 6800 is better by far
