GPRS or H or 3G

HI Guys,

I have a Samsung Galaxy S DUOS.

At top of my phone I see "H" or E or very rare "3G".

I am using a 3G sim with 3G active. But still I am not able to see 3G icon on my cell phone.

Can you all please help me why my cell is not showing "3G" icon, even I am not able to do a video calling.

Contact your service provider ...

This simply means that you do not have 3g data in your area. The H means you're getting a data connection though.
