Re: Phones that use micro USB chargers/cables
I read somewhere about future phones using one standard micro USB/charger connection.
I wish my Treo and my Bluetooth earbud used micro connections. If you find this post helpful, click on bottom of each post: Like l Share

HTC G1
Actually, I think most HTC's use the micro USB as well
As well as many Blackberry's
Never the less, great post!!
Edit: I guess you didn't say "these are all of the phone's ...." =(

Re: Phones that use micro USB chargers/cables
I heard of that in the near futher all phones will use the same charger plug, but not sure if it is USB charger, some of my friends buy china mobile phone and they come with USB charger which really surprice me once. in my opinion USB charger is easy to carry around.
You have to believe in yourself. That's the secret of success. This is irene, keeping to provide you more NOKIA phone, China mobile phones, and Multi-function cellphones at wholesale price, welcome to view my homepage-MICsourcing company!

Re: Phones that use micro USB chargers/cables
From this point on, all phones (and most bluetooth and other accessories) will now use a Micro USB charging port...by standard.
The main exception is the Apple iPhones, which will always be in their own world.

Re: Phones that use micro USB chargers/cables
I hope I'm not confusing the issue as I'm not an expert, but in the UK I have bought a T-Mobile Vario II (which is a customized HTC Hermes) and an HTC touch 2. Both these HTC phones use the mini USB.
However my LG GW620 does use a micro USB.
Thanks tavenger5 for getting a list started.
It would be great if chargers were standardized to save confusion as irene5909 has heard and nicknrm has confirmed. I heard the same thing from an alternate source. Fingers crossed...

Re: Phones that use micro USB chargers/cables
Every phone you buy seems to have a different charger with a different phone interface. Energizer
has found a way to streamline this.
The marketing company I work for recently entered into a campaign with Energizer for their new
Qi (pronounced chee) line of charging stations. Energizer Inductive Charging Stations brings
consumers the freedom to charge their smart phones, MP3 players, cameras – any device 5W or less
– on a single charging station, regardless of manufacturer.
The charging pads were designed in cooperation with Wireless Power Consortium co-founder
Convenient Power and will be available in October at Target and Target.com to start.
Check out the site for more info:
