Sync iPhone Contacts with Google via iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, including contacts, with the Alcatel device.
- Establish a USB connection between the iPhone and computer
- Open iTunes on the computer and access “Info”
- Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” in the drop-down menu
- Sign in with your Google account, or alternatively, click “Configure” and select an existing account
- Click “Apply” to begin the sync
- Once the sync is done, switch to the Alcatel device and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
- Set the account to sync contacts with your Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts have been previously backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.
- Open the internet browser on the computer
- Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account and access “Contacts”
- Select the desired contacts and click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
- Once the vCard has been downloaded on the computer, follow one of the steps below:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
- Connect the Alcatel device to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use “Contacts” to import it
Using “My Contacts Backup”:
NOTE: While the methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can use third party apps to share your iPhone contacts. My Contacts Backup is a third-party app for iOS which can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
- Launch the app and tap “Backup” to create a vCard backup file of your iPhone contacts
- Once done, tap “Email”
- Make sure the vCard backup file is attached to the email and send it to your own address
- On the Alcatel device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
- Use “Contacts” to import the vCard to your phonebook
Using “Send Anywhere”:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use, available on both Android and iOS. The application uses a peer-2-peer connection to transfer contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring a PC.
- Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
- Install the same app on the Alcatel device via the Google Play Store
- Launch the app on both devices
- On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts” and select the desired contacts to share
- Tap “Send” and select the desired transfer method, such as “Generate QR Code” or “Receive”
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
