Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with access to the Internet to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data with the Android device.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
  2. Launch iTunes on the computer and go to “Info”
  3. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  4. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  5. On the Android phone, sign in with the same account used in iTunes
  6. Set the account to sync contacts with the Android device

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in with the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android device.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts”
  4. Select the desired contacts and click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  5. Once the process is done, follow one of the steps below:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to your phonebook via Google Contacts, or:
    • Connect the Android device to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use the Contacts app to import it to your phonebook

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: While the methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app you can use to back up and share contacts via email.

  1. Install the app on the iPhone form the App Store
  2. Open the app and use it to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
  3. Compose an email and ensure the vCard is attached
  4. Send the attachment to your own email address
  5. On the Android device, open the email and download the vCard
  6. Import the vCard to your phonebook via the Contacts app

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Another third-party app you can use is Send Anywhere for Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other file types without requiring computer access.

  1. Install the app on both devices from the App Store and Play Store
  2. Launch the app on both phones
  3. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  4. Select the desired contacts
  5. Tap a transfer method on one of the devices and follow the prompts to complete the transfer
