Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, including contacts, with the Moto X4.

  1. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
  2. Launch iTunes and click the iPhone
  3. Access “Info” and enable “Sync Contacts With”
  4. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  7. Once the sync is complete, switch to the Android device and register the same Google account used in iTunes
  8. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts have already been backed up on your iCloud account you can sing in to the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on Android OS.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts”
  4. Select the contacts you want to share
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. Once the vCard has been downloaded, follow one of the steps below:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
    • Connect the phone to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and import it to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: The two methods above require a computer with access to the Internet, however you can also share your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup”. This will create a vCard backup file containing your iPhone contacts
  3. After the vCard is created, tap “Email”
  4. Create a new email and attach the vCard
  5. Send the email and attachment to your own address
  6. Switch to the Moto X4 and open the email
  7. Download the vCard attachment and import it to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use us Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types cross-platform, without requiring a PC.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Open the Play Store and install the same app on the Android device
  3. Launch the app on both smartphones
  4. Tap “Send” > “Contacts” on the iPhone
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  6. Lastly, select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
