I just think its dumb not to have a season due to dollars and cents. There are people out there that would play for free to have the opportunity to play a game as a NHL hockey player.
The best provider gives you a plan with the minutes you need at the right price. The coverage that you need to make calls all the time.

Philadelphia Flyers center Jeremy Roenick believes that NHL players are going to give up more than any union has ever given up in the history of professional sports when the league's new collective bargaining agreement is finally completed.
He also feels that will be sufficient to draw fans -- many of whom blamed the bulk of the labor dispute on the players -- back to the game.
"Everybody out there who calls us spoiled because we play 'a game,' they can all kiss my @$$. They can all kiss my @$$ because we have tried so hard to get this game back on the ice."
"I will say personally, personally, to everybody who calls us spoiled, you guys are just jealous, and screw you guys because we have tried so hard to get this game back on the ice to make it better for the fans," he said. "And if you don't realize that, don't come. We don't want you in the rink, we don't want you to watch hockey. Period."
I really don't care for hockey but the team owners gotta be really happy to hear one of their players say something like that, especially when the NHL is trying to regain fan loyalty
Can someone explain how collective bargaining "makes the game better for the fans"? Talent makes the game better. Rule changes can make the game more exciting. Things like salary caps- what that does that have to do with the game and fans? And that doesn't just go for hockey, it goes for all professional sports.Last edited by vinsanity; 06-27-2005 at 09:53 PM.
