My wife and I both have V551 phones. With Bluetooth powered on, shouldn't our phones be able to 'discover' each other while we're in the same room? I was under the impression that as long as the Bluetooth was on, a phone should be able to discover other phones and BT hardware within about 30 feet or so. Our phones don't find each other. Maybe I don't know what I'm doing. Any help is appreciated.

I would think it should be able to..
I recently got a job with T-Mobile.. while I walk thru the call center I am having issues with my lil moto trying to pair up with other phones via bluetooth.
it wouldnt be that bad if it did it quietly.. but it beeps each time... (almost like having a noisy kid on my belt)

    Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I had given up on ever being helped with this question. I did some searching and found the answer here in another thread.

Yes, once I figured I how to transfer files, I got the little beep each time, too. That doesn't bother me, so I haven't looked into ways to make it un-beep.
