Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account, and then sync the account data and contacts with the Android phone.
- Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
- Open iTunes on the computer
- Go to “Info” and enable “Sync Contacts With”
- Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
- Click “Apply” to start the sync
- Once done, switch to the Android phone and log in with the same account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android device
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: You can log in with your Google account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android phone.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
- Go to “Contacts”
- Select the desired contacts and click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
- Follow one of the steps below:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to your phonebook via Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook via the Contacts app
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: the methods above require a computer with Internet access but you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app you can use to back up and share contacts via email.
- Install the app on the phone via the App Store
- Open the app and create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Compose an email and attach the vCard
- Send it to your own email address and switch to the Android device
- Open the email and download the vCard
- Import the vCard to your phonebook via the Contacts app
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another Android and iOS third-party app you can use for sharing your contacts and other types of files, cross-platform, without requiring computer access.
- Install the app on both devices from their respective app stores
- Open the app on both phones
- On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
- Select the desired contacts and a transfer method on one of the devices
- Follow the prompts to complete the process
