A friend of mine has been with TMobile for a few years on a family plan. He currently has no contract. Trying to get two of the razor phones from them with a good deal has not seemed to work. Amazon has a FREE after rebate deal for new Cingular customers, and a 150.00 rebate on the phone (you make 25.00) on the Tmobile deal. Tmobile wants 129.00 a phone with a one year contract.

Has anyone gotten a better deal from them. Appreciate any info.

    Robert, welcome to CPF..
Those offers are for new contracts, you're doing an upgrade so you wouldn't qualify for that price, if you're not under contract anymore why don't you port your numbers to Cingular and get your Razrs for free?

That always seem to be the game out there. Get new customers but do nothing for the one you have. I was posting this for a friend. I tink if he calls to cancel service the deal will get better than they offer anyway.

Rather get a decent deal from them for two years then pay tmobile 150 or more for the phone.

but your going to lose in the long run because cingular overcharges you for 2 years rather than tmobile for one phone

The way things look among the phone companies these days there is very little difference on any of them price wise-unless you have a specific need like alot of phones and minutes. I am helping a friend on this one but I have sprint and they could care less about my business as well. Until I try to cancel then they do anything to keep me. I personally dont sign more than a 1 year deal but for the most part these rat plans have been fairly static with no price competition on the majors.
