I just recently upgraded my Cingular phone, so I have an inactive Motorola V220 sitting around. Can I buy a Tmobile sim card off of Ebay and use my V220 with that? What else would I have to do?

The V220 will need to be unlocked in order to work with T-Mobile service. You can probably find out how to do it online somewhere, or there are some local retail stores that has the equipment who can do it for a small fee.

proboly not. to use on prepaid, get a oxygen gsm or beyond wireless sim card

If you decide to go with BW or O2 you are fine without unlocking. If you decide to unlock the phone and go to tmobile you will need to use the tmobile configurator on their website to get the settings to use tzones and MMS. This can be sent OTA to your phone for free. Originally Posted by jdbacz
