I have a Nokia 6280, which is locked to Vodafone.

Can any please suggest how I may get it rebranded? I'm not bothered
about unlocking it. I would really like to get rid of the annoying
    little "Live " icon.

Any suggetions would be much appreciated

Best option for this phone would be to find a friendly Nokia Service
Centre and ask them to flash it with standard Nokia firmware. They may
or may not charge you for this (if they do it is approx £15).

When/if the 6280 can be updated using Nokia Software Update you could
see thread 'N73 Problem' in this group, 13-Nov-14-Nov.
This thread should give you a clue on how to do this yourself.
In short you need to download and install nemesis Service Suite (NSS).
Use NSS to change the phone's product code.
Visit Nokia Software Update and update your phone.

I don't know if the 6280 will ever be able to be updated using Nokia
Software Update (I doubt it will/can be) so your best bet would be a
    service centre. Sorry.
