DO NOT TURN PHONE ON TILL IT DRYS FOR 24 HOURS!!!
Even if the phone works...
As soon as possible: Remove back cover, SIM card, memory card, and battery till the phone dries 24 hours.
~If phone has salt water exposure, rinse it with fresh water.
~Pat phone dry with paper towels.
~Suck moisture from phone with vacuum for 30 min.
~Let phone sit 24 hours in airtight bag or container with uncooked rice to absorb moisture.
Blow drying is not recommended: Forces moisture deeper into phone; Heat will loosen glued phone parts.
Water damaged phones are rarely covered by insurance plans,
and have moisture detection indicator that show red or pink when exposed to liquids.
