I have a razr and just got a bluetooth dongle. I can send files to the razr but cannot recieve them. I checked my com ports and only incoming is available. When I try to add an outgoing com port it doesn't find my phone as it did when I installed the incoming com port. I turned on "Turn discovery on" in the "bluetooth devices" window. When I right click on my bluetooth program "Start using bluetooth" it says "device not found" (even though I can send files TO the razr). ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANKS.

You didn't give any information about what Bluetooth Adapter you have, the software that comes with them differs. Are you discoverable on your phone (on mine it's settings -> connection - bluetooth device - setup - power on. Perhaps your computer isn't finding the phone because bluetooth isn't on.

I have a generic bluetooth adapter. The cd it came with says "Bluetooth USB Adapter - ABT4112S421". I did the "find me" option and that worked to get my computer sync'd with my phone. I can send stuff to my phone but I cannot send stuff from my phone to my computer (perhaps because I cannot get the outgoing com port thing set up). Lastly, the bluetooth tray at the task bar always says "device not found" and programs like mpt (motorola phone tools) cant find a device either.
